Sales and Matchmaking

All horses in training board packages who are available for purchase are subject to a 10% sales commission. Any horse actively for sale is required to compete at all appropriate competitions and participate in regular schooling opportunities to maintain an active and appealing record.

I thoroughly enjoy the art of matchmaking and love helping riders find their heart horse. This is an art form that I have honed over the years and I would like to think I’m getting pretty good at picking the right match for my clients. I have made so many great matches over the years, and many of them are lasting and successful. From finding horses directly off the track or unstarted young horses to well seasoned packer types to overseas shopping trips for quality imports… One of my main rules for picking horses for clients is that it must work right now - not in the future. It is usually not my goal to have a client purchase a horse that requires months to years of training from myself before it will be OK for my client to ride ( unless the client specifically is buying the horse for me to ride and compete, please contact Coti for syndicate opportunities) If the goal in the purchase is for the client to ride and compete and have fun, then whatever horse I find to purchase must be good for the job right now, not after a predetermined or questionable amount of training. All purchases incur a 10% commission and clients are responsible for all travel costs, food cost, and day fees.
